Justice Barnard files in Austin

Austin,TX-It is official. Today, Justice Barnard made the trip to Austin to file in person to remain on the Fourth Court of Appeals, Place 2.
On January 1, 2009, Justice Barnard was appointed to the Fourth Court of Appeals by Governor Rick Perry. She presides over civil and criminal cases appealed from lower courts in thirty-two counties of Texas; in civil cases where judgment rendered exceeds $100, exclusive of costs, and other civil proceedings as provided by law; and in criminal cases except in post -conviction writs of habeas corpus and where the death penalty has been imposed for the following 32 counties:
